Introducing, Pitching Practice!
Are you ready for a new challenge?
We're calling all Young Christian Writers with book ideas - whether finished or unfinished - to pitch their book to us.
We don't care if you have a 100k long finished, ready to publish fantasy, or a childrens picture book that's currently just a random idea that woke you up at 3am.
So long as it's clean, wholesome, and without bad language or profanity, we want to hear about it!
It's completely free to send your book in but you must be between the ages of 12 and 25.

Why Pitching Practice?
Pitching Practice is designed with the goal of helping both new, aspiring, and veteran authors up their game when it comes to pitching to literary agents, editors, and publishers.
All you do is follow the submission guidelines below, and Voila, we'll read the submissions and give you some feedback on both what you did well, and how you could potentially improve.
The feedback is given with the desire to be kind and helpful - we want to create a safe place for you to share your story, whether for the first time or not!
How to Pitch:
Please send an email to hello@wearenorthboundbooks.com containing:
A confirmation that the book does NOT contain any adult content, language, or profanity.
Your book's hook/one line synopsis,
Your books target audience, genre, word count (if it's finished), any comparable titles, and a brief overview as to why you're writing it.
Your book's full synopsis
A paragraph about you, any previous writing experience, etcetera.
And the first chapter of you book!
We cannot WAIT to read your pitches!!
Submissions are open to writers between the age of 12 and 25, and open on the 6th of July 2026
(submissions will close when we fill our quota, or on the 6th of August. Whichever comes sooner! (get in early!)

📜 How much does it cost?

🏆 No. This is not a writing competition so there is no prize at this time.
📜 What if my book's not finished?!
🏆 No problem! We'd still love for you to pitch your book! Unfinished manuscripts are WELCOME! 😃
📜 How old do I have to be to pitch?
🏆 You must be between 12 and 25 years old to be able to pitch HOWEVER... if you are under 16 by emailing us you confirm you have permission from a parent or guardian to submit your pitch.
📜 What genres do you accept?
🏆 All genres are welcome so long as they contain NO: profanity, language, or explicit content.
